These are here FOR an event. When I uploaded a photo of a parking lot full of Bentley's, they weren't dealer cars, but they were there FOR the dealership, therefore it got deleted. This should be too.

@langnews, this is a parking lot to an event. This is in no way part of an actual event. It's not like all these cars registered to be a part of a parking lot event. They just showed up. If seeing a bunch of exotic cars packed up in one parking lot is considered an event, I don't know what to say. Also, just to clarify, there were also other supercars spread out across the "normal" parking lot. Is that also considered an event? It makes absolutely no difference whether it's one supercar and 10 normal cars around it, or 50 supercars in one parking lot. It still isn't an event. Please get your facts straight before commenting. LONG STORY SHORT: This is a parking lot full of supercars, A PARKING LOT.

I've felt similar to Langnews....

It seems majority of the spots on this site are simply from spectator lots or shots incredibly close to events. Don't get me wrong...those spots are some of the best, showing some of the best cars ever made. When I first joined this website way back I liked it because of the raw footage people shared, complete random spots...it seems to have been relegated to a "I know where to see good cars" site. Personally, I've always resented hotel shots, spectator lots or similar. I probably have a few myself but I try to keep it limited. Just my two cents...

if its not on display or in a area designated for cars entered in the show it is legit. cars that were part of the event are not ok to have on here as long as they are at least 1 mile type thing on the road once away from the event.

EDIT: I see now. You said "Those exotics are there directly because of the event going on." Now keep in mind that this is MONTEREY CAR WEEK, and exotics are everywhere. But this lot is famed, and it is but a spectator lot. Now MCW spotters know that there's exotics here, but they don't know what or when.
