There is a Lamborghini Mercialago in Cary. It's gray, a coupe; I saw it once, but I haven't been able to track it down again. And according to my chiropractor, one of his patients from Cary has an Aston Martin DB9 (he traded in a Ferrari F430 Spider for it), but hardly ever drives it.
Just something to keep your eyes open for! I've also seen a Ferrari California drive past in front of Whole Foods (Wade Ave, where this was, which I got some pictures of), a 2013 Maserati GranTurismo, Lotus Elise, and another Maserati GranTurismo MC within the vicinity. The Tesla Roadster I saw a few months back was also at this Whole Foods, and I have seen numerous Model S' and Fisker Karmas either in the parking lot or driving past on Wade Ave.
I saw it at the Cary Whole Foods once. It was several years ago, though, and I haven't seen it since. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera with me, so no pix, but if I ever see it again I'll let you know!
Yeah, many supercar manufacturers are dropping the 6 speed manual transmission and only having the flappy paddle/dual clutch transmission as an option. I hope to see that 6 speed manual F430!
I don't think I have seen any other manual Lamborghini's in the Raleigh area. There is a red Ferrari F430 Coupe in Cary with a 6 speed manual. But there's also one with the F1 transmission, so they are hard to tell apart! I haven't seen either in over two years though : (
Thank you! You're right, it may not be a rental but the best part of this Gallardo is the six speed manual, it's really rare to find one of those these days!
Nice spotting, Sebastian! I haven't ever seen the Gallardo at Quail Ridge...but it's definitely the same one that I saw over by NC State. I doubt it is a rental; it's a stick shift, and I highly doubt any rental agency would rent out manuals (especially on high-line cars), as not many people know how to drive them.
