Great little story there Davis! So true as well. Another good adage for photography is something like "Go to a sports game. Don't shoot the game." Always look for the angles no-one else gets. That's why I tend to get really low to the ground for my moving car shots. Lying down if possible, but the last time I got badly eaten by ants and am still sporting the scars. Poor little buggers, I must have squashed their nest so they're entitled to a bit of my flesh I guess.
They were good. The raindrops got in the way of my shots thugh so some have little flecks of rain in front of a car.. but that can be fixed with editing.
Agreed.. when it started raining at the Cars and Coffee on Saturday, 40 people left and I was one of the few who stayed outside. When a friend of mine asked why I was still outside, I said, "My photos are going to be awesome."
Let's not be hasty gents, it's only a photo credit that I am looking for. Have sent them a second message to request they put one on there, they have on most of the other photographer's pictures.
i dont think he can unless he has a proper watermark on it to identify he was originial photographer, and they not making money off it, if they were producing this photo and selling it, then he can
Thank you for pointing that out QAZ. I had a look through a few of the photos on their FB page and it appears that crediting the photographer is not something they are big on. It could be that they find these photos on blogs etc. which also lack creditation, but in my experience bloggers almost always link back to the Flickr account of the photog and also provide credit. I will drop them a line and mention it. I am sure it's just an honest oversight on their behalf. Photogs these days must accept that tue internet brings new challenges and we have to adapt to keep up but anyone using another person's photo should always provide credit unless agreed otherwise with the photographer. Thanks again for looking out for us QAZ!
