Thanks for such an interesting spot. De Tomaso made so many much more interesting cars than the Pantera. The Longchamp, the Deauville. I wish we saw more of those cars.
@ Hide - Nope I didnt think that :-) I agree with what you say, unfortunately i dont have much time to go out and get the more random encounters like i used to before i started posting here.
@ RupertProcter - i'm taking nothing away from your photography skills, your pictures are easily the finest pictures on this site. but i just mean that the cars are out every sunday morning and it isn't as special as a 'chance encounter'
@ Line - Sure, it's not difficult but I don't agree that it is akin to a dealership shot. No matter where they're heading or coming from they are still on public roads and I don't know what is going to be out and about - it is still pretty random. I could go anywhere in HK on Sunday and get these cars, but I do this to improve myself as a photographer, I'm only interested in getting good photos of interesting cars, not random snaps (I have thoueands of them from the past) and these locations work the best for me for that. Hope you understand my point of view. :-)
its a bit easy to spot these cars because the drivers meet every sunday and its easy to predict where they will be. its almost as easy as a dealership spot
