Ashoor, it's probably to avoid the attention he would get during daylight hours. Think of things that have happened to exotics during daylight hours, such as people siting on them, touching them, damaging them etc. With a car like this, worth a fair amount, and extremely rare, I'd want to avoid as much of this as possible.
