For a small volume car manufacturer like TVR, it worked out more cost effective to re-use parts throughout the range, such as the clam shell bonnet/hood of this Chimaera and the Cerbera. The 'Speed Six' engine was used in various models, including the Sagaris (although upgraded and updated). TVR also used other parts from a 'parts bin'. For example, the rear lights on the original Chimaeras were units from a Ford Fiesta MkIII, Griffiths also used rear lights from the 90's Vauxhall Cavalier. It was just too costly to develop so many parts for such a car in a small'ish factory in Blackpool.
I think this is a Cerbera Speed 6. Note, both cars look similar, but the Chimaera hard top, has a curve in the top of the window, whereas the Speed 6 has a flat one, as the car pictured does.
