Thanks, again, man. Yes, I agree, but so what? I've learned that when I really, really like a photo (of mine) it's likely to be the kiss of death. I just really like this photo. This is a democracy, not a meritocracy, and that's OK, it kinda works. If there's one thing I wish were a little different, I'd like to see more photos outside-of-the box., more risk taking, dare to be bad but unexpectedly outstanding. 2 recent photos come to mind: LaFerrari in London by 92-DH is just crazy & uncontrolled, a delightful chaotic mess of color & objects but the composition still works, and I can't be specific about the photo but it's a B & W of a Lambo traveling through a car park & I think the photog apologized for the blur and a spotter (Rupert, I think) had the the good sense to remind him that all good photographs don't need to be sharp. Maybe I can find it. Thanks for the support.
