Spotted this a while back in Wairau. Saw it again today but didn't have time to get a pic. Poor quality due to only having an ipod at the time of this picture.

Thanks West! But this is super old and on a iPod 4 so its super grainy. I do however have a better shot of it on the highway from my iPhone. So I will upload that one. Im super surprised how I got the highway shot as he was going so fast! Ive now seen it 5 times! Ive also got a shot of the 1/1 Tesla Model S P85D over here West, should I upload that?

He imported the cars from the UK. He recently did a road trip from the top of NZ to the bottom of NZ and back in these cars. It was all done to show off the cars he has.

If they're imports they're certainly worth a lot!

The guy that owns this is called Steve West. He is highly into Electric Vehicles. This passion has taken him further and he will possibly start a company soon which sells Electric Vehicles in NZ. This guy owns 1/1 Tesla Roadster in NZ, a Nissan Leaf and 1/1 Tesla Model S in NZ. Ive seen all three of his cars. His plate on the Model S is LOLGAS. He has a great sense of humour, and he has said he will constantly try to import these cars to add to his collection. The guy lives on the North Shore not too far from us, so one day if I am lucky, I will find both of them in one place and get a great shot.

I'm not 100% sure, but it's well over $100,000 NZ Dollars. That means it's very expensive. You can pick up an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Possibly a DB9, a Maserati Quattroporte, a Ferrari 328 GTSi and a few other exotics like that cheaper than this car...

You are right in saying that because it shares the chassis of the Elise. Do you know how much this car is worth since it's the only one there?

This is the only one in NZ I believe. I have heard it has been seen on numerous occasions, so the owner drives it daily. My dad has seen it a few times and ive seen it twice now. Beautiful car! Although, it reminds me of the Lotus Elise.

Great shot! I love these cars but they never get the love they deserve! Tesla put so much money into this car, and went through so much trouble to get it to market. In the US these things went up from about $75,000 in value to around $150,000 in about 5 years, they're quite collectible now. Nice find and cool angle!
