@loislois76 in some cases there won't be any headlights, thats one sign its original. There are many others but Im too lazy to type them out. Chassis number would help to know too, looking up the number on the internet could tell you if it were original or not.

Well I mean, it can technically be authentic by the way its licensed, but it doesn't make it an original car.

What is the difference between a fake and a replica?

Unfortunately this would apear to probably be a replica. Or atleast not an original 60's Cobra 427.

One way to tell is if possible check out the badge that will be on the passenger side when you open the hood to the engine. My dad was fooled when he saw one that looked very similar. but if you remember the chassis number and look it up on the internet you'll be able to find out if its real. Looks like an original but like Luke said replicas can sometimes fool ya. Still a very cool spot!!

Replicas can easily convince someone to make them believe they are real. It does look good, but even if it is licensed to look legit, there's a high chance it's a replica. Sweet spot and shot though.
