Description Saw this 1936 Phantom in a parking lot by Chicago O'Hare. Owned by a luxury rental company, though it looks as if it was broken into. (The door was slightly ajar...) It has obviously taken a beating since the 30s.
What was once a Phantom III (1936-1940), but sadly not much left. Even without being able to see, I'd be willing to bet that the magnificent V-12 engine is long gone. The ridiculously undersized wheels and tires are obviously some improper junk. Great shame. At this point it would cost so much money to make the car right, that almost no one would undertake the restoration.
