Description This Rolls Royce was dropping people off at a church on 10th Ave. Does anyone know what this is? I've heard Silver Wraith II, Phantom V, and Phantom VI.
Good afternoon gentlemen. All of you are correct, more or less. The car is a 2nd series Phantom V. Coachwork by H.J.Mulliner-Park Ward. As such it could be any model year from 1963 to 1967. Being a "2nd series" P.V means that, yes, it has quad, or four headlights versus two. Shame about the "wedding" white paint. They are so beautiful in Black, Velvet Green, Midnight Blue etc. Do I even need to mention the tires? Vastly undersized, making the car sit too low to the ground. And the whitewalls? Way too wide. Sadly also, the ill fitting boot (trunk) lid is due to idiots filling the boot too full of luggage, or dead bodies, or whatever, and then trying to force the lid down until it latches! But a rare car, and a rare spot. I enjoyed seeing it.
