Porsche 918 Spyder spotted in Charlotte, North Carolina

    I never thought I would actually see one of these, but then we pulled up to the intersection of Colony Rd. and Sharon Rd, and I saw this orange M3 in the turn lane for a Harris Teeter plaza. Then the 918 pulled up behind it! We followed them into the plaza, and they pulled up at the ABC shop. The owner was really nice, and let us all sit in it (it's VERY low and awkward). And the M3 is apparently a Lime Rock Edition (1 of 200) which makes it even rarer than the 918! Without a doubt my spot of the year!

If you mean Bob Ingram's 918, then yes, it's been delivered. I doubt he'll drive it much though, since he already owns like 35 other Porsches. I think he's the one who owns the silver Carrera GT, and it only has like 125 miles on it.

Lucky motherf**ker.. :) I have yet to see the LaFerrari, 918 or new P1 that is around the area. I will see it one day though. Nice shot including the M3
