Description Beautiful 911 GT3 parked at Whole Foods in Cary. Clearly a long way from home, as it had California plates on it. The owner was walking out to the car right as I pulled into the plaza, so I only got a few photos, but I tried to take advantage of where it was parked with this angle. Like it?
Yeah the 458 at the YMCA had a South Carolina license plate and the one at Southpark that I saw had an NC plate. Now that you mention it, I think I saw a red one up in North Charlotte a few years ago, before I really got into cars.
Ah, cool. It looked to be a bit darker red than the one that is at the South Park Mall a lot. I've only seen one GT3 RS on the streets, and it was before I took pictures of anything (*rolleyes*). As far as I know, the one I saw is still owned by someone in Cary, and there's a black one with orange lipstick as well. I have seen a red GT3 in Charlotte (it was in the University area) and a silver one at Phillips Place though.
Yeah the 458 at the YMCA on my profile is his I'm pretty sure. I've seen the GT3 at the YMCA also, but I didn't have my camera with me. Hopefully I'll catch it soon!
Parker - That must have been quite a move. I know someone who moved here from CA like a year ago and they still have CA plates on their Navigator, lol.
Dustin - Thanks! I know there's a blue GT3 RS somewhere around Ballantyne (the owner also has a Ferrari 458 Italia) but I've never seen it. Hopefully you'll be able to get one of these - or a GT2 - on camera soon!
I really didn't get a chance. I was setting up for this angle when he walked up and opened his door, so I quickly said "you've got a beautiful car! Can I take a few pictures of it?" He said it was fine, got in, and closed the door before I could say anything else (he's actually in the car in this shot). So no, unfortunately I didn't.
