basically the car was for sale, its just a temporary number plate for when the car isn't owned by anyone

what's up with the strap around the police number to the boot and the engine cover (previous photo)?

i thought that the 2 had fallen off but i also noticed the GT logo on the side of the rear spoiler and that there wasn't a mark where the 2 had been. and thanks i didn't realise quite how rare this is, after doing some research i found out that only 7 right hand drive 993 GT2's were ever made making it even rarer

This is a very rare Porsche you ran into here, I hope my comment on the previous picture was informative, also I didn't realize you had already posted more pics when I asked for more so thanks. But you really got lucky here, this is a bad bad machine that is one of the most prized pcars of the past 20 years. The GT badge on the boot lid can be misleading but really it denotes the car as the later model 993 GT2 which had a boost in power and a twin ignition system which was different from the original 993 gt2. Also the lack of orange in the tail lights and the front running lights are typical signs of this super rare Porsche. Again thanks for sharing, this car is under appreciated and many people wouldn't even bother posting it because they wouldn't know how special it really is, but you caught the biggest sign being the GT badge and that's a good spot because a lot of people would just shake it off as being re badged or maybe that the 2 or 3 simply fell off. 10*
