Description Rare exotic you dont see very much and not many of these are found on exoticspotter so I was amazed to see one in a nearby parking lot!! I dont know very much about these unique cars but its more expensive than it looks. It was really cool to see one!!
It's good they're a company that will let customers customize and although its probably expensive it probably doesn't compare to Porsche's add-on fees haha.
Nice to see you're a fellow F1 fan!! Iv'e loved it since I became familiar with it and it brings satisfaction that Nascar never could!(Im sure Nascar is big in your area of the south) That's the thing about places like Europe, F1 is hugely popular! Its neat how much the people who have experience working with F1 branch around the world and spread their knowledge like to states in the US. So if Panoz is made in your state and you only see several a year that means there's even fewer in the rest of the US let alone the world, which makes finding this that much more exciting for me!
Thanks for the details about this car and I look forward to seeing your next awesome photos!
The production side is very cut and dry however they do have a in house personalization department that can do just about anything a owner may want. For a small price of course lol.
The racing facility was my favorite because I have been a huge fan of F1 racing since I was a kid. All The modern racing technology comes from the U.K which is the home of the first ever F1 grand prix race. In fact most F1 teams are based in that country. The individuals I talked with either had a background with race car teams or had experience in design and construction from companies based there.
The road cars are built in so little numbers I only see several a year. So well done again on spotting her!
No way that's awesome you got to go for a ride in one! Do the regular cars consist of carbon fiber? And are you a racing guy? I'm not surprised they hire Britts cause they truly are known for their car building skills. I was just looking at their website and their new cars are great looking, wonder how many are cruising around..
This was a private tour set up by a friend of my dad's. The real treat was getting a ride around road Atlanta for several laps in a Esparante GT LM roadster.
They also have a second facility down the street in which they made engines and carbon fiber tubs and parts for Indy car chassis. A lot of their employees are from Great Briton btw. The carbon fiber molds and the baking oven was awesome especially for a racing guy to see up close. Again this was back in 2005.
Seriously?! Lucky man, do you know if they still do tours there? It's awesome to have another US manufacturer outside Detroit! Thanks, glad you mention the mountains cause I'm just noticing the snow realizing the date is off haha.
Made in Georgia lol. I actually toured the factory several years ago it was pretty cool. This shot just looks so clean. Love the mountain's there in the background.
Thanks everyone!
burdmanmarc877-Yeah they are really elusive like Moeseph said and some other people who posted photos of them, but I hope both you guys come across one! On my list I hope to spot a Mosler, Pagani, and Koenigsegg. hyoung90-Really, did it have a Texas plate? Haha thanks im glad they cancelled that show too, it was rotting peoples minds lol.
