Well guys, let's start at the start. It is not an S.2. It is an S.3 Bentley Continental, H.J.Mulliner-Park Ward drop head coupe. Often referred to as the 'Korenental' because of it's designers name, Vilhelm or Villem Koren. One of the truly great cars of the 1960's. Actually well done that you did not post it in the Bentley Continental section. That would have placed it in the category with all the rebodied VW Phaetons that refer to themselves as 'Continentals'. And that would be embarrassing.
That said, this is not the greatest example rolling around. The car has undoubtedly had a front end collision at some time, because when the front end was rebuilt, either out of a lack of knowledge, or cheapness, the owner has installed the side marker/turn signal lamps from the standard S.3/Silver Cloud III standard saloon. It was a cheesy move, and it looks it. Also, the Lucas fog lamps were not mounted in the correct location above the front bumper. Really a great shame on a car that is valuable now, and only going up!
The Tudor Grey paint with Black top and what appears to be Black interior is a good combo on one of these superb cars. Hopefully it will pass to an owner who will correct this car. It would be well worth it.
