I saw my third of the year last week and I also have a mclaren dealer relatively close to me but they still aren't as common as a ferrari or something.
I've been lucky enough to see a mclaren on the road about 25-30 times this year. Rarely seeing the same one more than once. Dallas is one of the few US cities with a mclaren dealer so I'm guessing that is why there are so many here.
I see one maybe once every 6 months. 458 Italia is more common because it has the name Ferrari. Gallardo's are more popular than 458 because younger guys tend to own them and they like to flaunt while the 458 owners want them for the weekends and nice days. Bentley's are everywhere though. NJ was decent for me this year. 599GTO, Aventador, F12, SLR, New GT2, are all rare but I had a chance to see them on the roads.
I've never seen one. There are only two in the Raleigh/Cary area that I am aware of. There may be a few more in Charlotte (there has been one spotted down there) but I certainly haven't seen any. There isn't a dealer here, so they aren't as common as Bentley's, Ferrari's, and Maserati's.
