I'd guess that this is an '02, and like pinin said, probably has transmission issues (e-gear?) among other things.

Also, the air vents aren't open all the way. I don't know if you can adjust them to any position between fully-closed and fully-open, or if it's just those two positions (open/closed). If it's just open/closed, then I'd venture to say there are electrical issues with that car, which aren't allowing the vents to move as they should. Just a thought.

Still, that is ridiculously cheap for a Murc.

Yeah I'd be really suspicious of that price. Probably has transmission issues and no paper work for regular service. Still you could probably make a pretty penny fixing it up and selling it
