Description My brother-in-law sent me this pic of an LP640 he spotted a few weeks ago. Normally I don't post vertical cell pics, but I've been seeing more and more of them so I guess I'll add this one, since I haven't been able to spot this Murc yet myself for a better shot. The owner of this Murc (supposedly) bought it with the insurance money he received from when his Saleen S7 burned down from an engine fire. I gotta say, as awesome as this Murc is, I'm gonna miss seeing that S7.
Yeah, this guy still has his silver S7 and, among other cars, an orange-red Aventador that I've yet to see. Not sure if he replaced this LP640 with it or if he still has it as well.
I've read on FerrariChat that there's a yellow S7 in the Cedar Rapids area and the guy has an enormous supercar collection.
Better yet, I also learned that there's a guy in the Dubuque area with TWO F40's, an F50, other "top tier" Ferraris (288 GTO or Daytona, perhaps?), as well as many other Ferraris. I've GOT to find out what all he has. I can't believe that kind of a car collection is just an hour north of here!
Well thanks to my fiancee's spot of the S7 today, I'm happy to report that the rumors of this Murc replacing the S7 (due to the rumor of it having burned down) are false.
I'm so beyond disappointed that I lost my pictures of the S7. It's such an amazing car to see on the road; it makes almost everything else, no matter how exotic, look downright pedestrian.
Even more amazing is the fact that we had one here in the Quad Cities lol.
