Description In honor of this coming weekend's annual Motori Italiani car show in Ballantyne, I'm posting this Gallardo Squadra Corse that had been at the show last year, but I spotted several hours afterwards randomly bombing around the Phillips Place plaza. The wrap has unfortunately been removed since I spotted it, so the car is plain yellow now. Even after over a year of availability, it just sold from Lamborghini Carolinas within the past week or so. Like the shot?
No, unless any of the spectators bring exotics. There is a registration list for the show, so anything in the show would not be a legitimate spotting. Anything in general parking would be fine (especially if it's not Italian, as there's no way they could participate anyway).
Thanks guys! Yup Harrison, I'm talking about the show this weekend at 131 Main, although it is exclusively an Italian car/motorcycle show, so I'm not sure the 918 would be there. Of course, it would be awesome if it was, because it would be a legitimate spotting.
I'm hoping a couple of exotic car owners will bring their cars just to spectate...last year there was a GranTurismo in general parking, but that's not really exotic in Charlotte, although I do remember there being an older Lotus, a Europa I think. Shoulda taken some pics of it!
Thanks a bunch everyone! This had dealer plates on it when I spotted it, so I assume no one had yet bought it from Lamborghini Carolinas. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the gray was in a matte finish, and the white and yellow weren't, so it had to be a wrap. Also, on LC's website, this car only had the yellow finish, so I'm assuming the wrap was taken off, even though I think it looks awesome.
I thought Squadra Corses were only supposed to be painted yellow for the US and silver for Europe. How did this guy get it like this? Amazing find and nice shot by the way!
