Description Unexpectedly found this Gallardo Spyder at Whole Foods about a week ago. Hadn't really seen anything notable here in a while, so it was cool to break that streak.
Thanks guys! I just crouched down a little bit to get this shot, as it was sunny and I didn't have my tripod with me. I guess the driver left the front end up to make it easier to get in and out, as he didn't appear to be able to put any weight on one of his legs. Strangely, the first Lambo I ever recall seeing was a white LP560 about a mile from here in Cary. It must have been right after the LP-series Gallardo was released. I then saw another white LP560 in another part of Cary, but it was a Spyder. Took a while to spot my first earlier-model Gallardo, which if I recall correctly was a black one in Raleigh, with chrome wheels and a gated manual. I actually managed to spot a Murcielago LP640 before I saw any earlier Gallardos on the street.
Very nice shot Nick! L/F. Did you use a tripod? This era of 2000's exotics is pretty nostalgic for me, my first Lambo was a blue Gallardo in Wilmington.
Not sure how long it's been in the area, but the owner is local and used to own a dark blue 355 Spider that I spotted here once. He was actually on crutches and looked like he couldn't put any weight on one of his legs, so it was really cool seeing him still enjoying his Lambo despite all of that.
