I agree completely! I'm pretty sure magazines and stuff will only accept polarized pictures, but here I actually kind of like the effect, and going without one does add a nice old-school touch to an image. Brilliant as always, mate, keep up the good work!
It's a good point. I do have one and cost me an arm and a left, but personally I prefer to go without on my street shots. IMO the reflections of the buildings often add to the character of the image (apart from the bloody lamp posts). I feel that polarized shots are becoming the norm these days and they tend to make the photo have more of a studio type feel to them, I prefer my shots more true to life. That said, if I am shooting static cars in a set up environment I will almost always use my polarizer, if you want to get images published it's really a must.
Wow, your pictures are just unbelievable! Just a suggestion - why don't you think about getting a polarizer? That would have gotten rid of the reflections.
