Well in my mind the 488 is one of the most boring cars Ferrari has ever produced. The 458 is light-years better than the 488. Because it offers way more feel than the 488.

@Swe-Spotter This is exactly what I mean when I say that it's underrated. Everyone goes around acting like the 488 is trash, when it really isn't even that bad. Also, you have to take into consideration other cars in it's class that are overrated. I wouldn't want to have an aventador because everyone else would want one.

In what way is the 488 underrated? I would say it is overrated. The thing sounds horrible, which in my mind at least is a huge part of a supercar. And it isn't THAT fast even. I once raced the Aventador and 488 and apart from the start, where the lighter, more modern 488 got a jump, the Aventador kept the distance all the way to 300 km/h. That is very impressive if you ask me for a car with a much slower gearbox, a lot more weight to carry and in reality less actual power due to it being AWD vs RWD. And this was a rolling race. If it would have been a standing start I am sure the Aventador would get the jump and keep it until the end.

I'd take the 488 because 488s are underrated and Aventadors are overrated.
