Flaco, it's parked on Salisbury St right near the Wells Fargo building, or Glenwood Ave in front of the Alchemy bar very regularly. If you get a chance, drive past both of those buildings. You'll probably see it parked out front.
Cool, I'll keep an eye out for anything you post. I wonder if the orange Miura from the Lake Norman area will be there? The owner seems to take it to a lot of car shows throughout the Carolinas.
Sucks that you can't come, I had to change when I take the SAT just to go to the show, I guess you can't really change your finals though. You'll be seeing plenty of pics from outside the show on my page probably starting Sunday.
I don't know, didn't think to ask him. I forgot the Concours was this weekend, but I've got final exams and whatnot so I probably wouldn't have the time to go anyway. Hope you have a good time and see some cool stuff both in and outside of the show. I know of a couple Ferraris that are going (grey 612 from Charlotte and silver F430 Spider from Raleigh) but no Lambos.
Thats awesome, I wonder if he's going to be at Pinehurst Concours Saturday, he would he one of the only Lamborghinis there. It would be great to see the same car twice in a week.
Well, turns out the Gallardo Spyder was traded in on this. I drove down Salisbury St today and happened to catch the owner as he was about to leave. He owns one of the businesses across the street.
When I was taking pics of that Gallardo Spyder, two guys - one in a 350Z, the other in I think an Integra (can't remember for sure though) - rolled down their windows and shouted "Lamborghini!" as they drove past. It's got to be difficult to drive a Lambo almost every day due to the attention they draw....I mean, Aston Martins, Audi R8s, and Porsches fly under the radar as best an exotic can, but Ferraris, Lambos, and McLarens definitely don't.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Gallardo was traded in on this, since it's the same brand, same color, and etc. I've seen the Gallardo parked on the other side of this street once, and I've also seen it parked in front of Alchemy on Glenwood like 20 times, so hopefully he'll start driving this around there as well. Such a wild-looking car, actually just saw one on I-40/I-85 between Greensboro and Durham, and it sure turned my head.
It would be cool if it was a collector bringing different cars to work everyday, it was in the same spot for 2 days so I really don't know what was up with it. Its cool either way, I was very shocked to see it, especially in Raleigh. The Gallardo does seem to be in the same area as well and they are both NC plated!
Holy cr*p!!! First I've heard about a white Aventador in Raleigh! Wonder if it's owned by the same person as this? I've seen this Gallardo parked on the same street, and a black earlier-model gated Gallardo was seen multiple times near Wells Fargo as well.
