@oint: Sorry for the delay. A pleasure to share the same proverbial page with you, oint. I'd prefer the hovercraft to the Agera, though I can hardly tell them apart. Heh, heh.
@Ep Haha, we are indeed on the some proverbial page. I seem to fit your description, so I doubt you've mistaken me for someone else. Love the hovercraft!
Kudos bej96. Ok, good spot. You had both eyes open. This car looks like the type of hovercraft that the Dutch use to patrol the perimeter of their sea walls, inspecting for structural integrity breaches. Take a look: http://www.abs-hovercraft.com/uploads/pics/Hovercraft-DONAR-front.jpg
I'll take the hovercraft. This doesn't look like a showroom to me, it looks like a barn, Barns are legit, yes?
I agree with ointmentapyntmnt it looks like a dealership and it look as if there is another agera in the back here's proof http://i.imgur.com/Y2VnyFb.jpg I have adjusted the exposure to make the background more clear and that car that is in the background has the same headlight. But love the shot wether it's legit or not.
Oint-t-t-t: Hah,I like you, too. Anyone who hates the Veyron, uses the word plethora, & has been cursing at me without my knowledge is A OK with me. Also, I seem to recall that you frequently have an in-your-face attitude whilst commenting here on ES, another good sign. Or do I have you confused with someone else? WTL90 does seem shy at this point. Easy to let it go, but thanks for the mild provocation.
FOSC: ??? I thought that this is what these comments were about. Legit or not legit.
I like you fasteppy, I suppose I'll stop cursing at you in my comments! Indeed the subject is somewhat shrouded in grey. An appearance from WTL90 seems unlikely at this point, so perhaps we'll never know. I for one prefer to see shots like this on Flickr in high res, rather tan when I'm trying to track my favorite cars.
Oint-t-t-t: Word of the law (our rules) vs. spirit of the law (rule). Rules don't prohibit Staging, but demand Real World. Could they be the same thing? I can recall a photo or 2 that were staged in the real world & posted without protest or comment. Absolutely a worthy discussion. I can't see enough, any, of the setting for this car, so I think that a 'Full Description', as requested in the Rules, by WTL90, who has not weighed in as of yet, would be helpful. Only re-iterating the make/model under Description is suspect.
505: Just because it is a rarely spotted car does not mean that the circumstances in which it was photographed should not matter. It's on the list so it gets posted, if it breaks a rule it shouldn't remain posted. J. S. What do you say WTL90?
No, by staged I meant the definition of the word staged: Deliberately arranged for effect. This photograph reeks of arrangement which suggests a lack of spontaneity which seems to contradict the definition of spotting: see, notice, or recognize (someone or something) that is difficult to detect or that one is searching for. This photo looks neither seen, noticed or recognized but rather sought out. Just sayin'...
