Ya you have to stick to the centre and scan the horizon all the time, coordinate crossing with the far off traffic lights. So cross when its clear on one size and concentrate on the side with the cars coming. Its a alot of work looking front and back all the time. Its kind of impossible to look casual and something always gets by.

Yep now I get it haha, it seems though whenever I walk down the center walkway I don't see much then as soon as I cross, something flied by on the opposite side
