Fisker Tramonto spotted in Palo Alto, California

Details on This Fisker Tramonto:

  • Location
    Palo Alto, California
  • Description
EDIT: This car appears to be a V8, and is falsely badged as a V12. EXTREMELY RARE Fisker Tramonto (1/15). In fact, it is the only V12 in the world! My friend has seen this car before and it lives in his area. There was a lot of glare on the windshield of my car, so this is the best shot I could get. I was going to say looks like the guy driving has white hair but thought it could be because of the sun or something. Maybe his dad or a friend.

I just google imaged Larry Augustin, and that's not the guy driving. The guy driving was older and had greyish-white hair.

The founder of Geeknet, Larry Augustin, currently is CEO at a company called SugarCRM which is based in Cupertino, CA, not to far from Palo Alto.

On El Camino. I was gonna go on Galvez St, but part of it was closed, so when I got to the Town and Country shopping center, I had to turn left on El Camino. I didn't realize that the Tramonto was two cars in front of me at the light.

The founder did go to college at Stanford so he may have retired and moved out there. It's HQ is still in Virginia.

Maybe he started it there and then moved to Silicon Valley.

Nice spot! Geeknet is an investor relations website but it is located in Virginia so who knows what's up with the plate. And yes I actually looked it up.

I'm not sure what "Geeknet" is, but it's definitely some sort of tech thing. It is Silicon Valley after all.
