Details on This Ferrari Testarossa:

Caught this after the school drop-off, assuming it was a quick drive after servicing at Sport Auto. For those of you who know Sport Auto, they sold their building and are winding down now :(

Here's an old article when he got Lambo after his initial retirement.

It's a beautiful building. Barney brought Ferrari to the Carolinas, and I think FCI might be the third-longest running dealer in the country now (or something like that). I used to go out here every fri night during high school and you could literally see anything in this little store (F40s, Enzo, 512 BBi, Countach, LM002, Daytona's, 275s, you name it). Summerfield is semi-rural town outside of Greensboro, a small/medium city. I think he picked this area originally in the 70s because it was central to Raleigh and Charlotte, plus has numerous interstates intersecting here

Nice spot! I have heard about Sport Auto once, shame they're closing down

It's mainly 80s Ferraris in the showroom right now plus a 348 challenge, presumably for service. I think Tom, the tech, did a leaseback and is finishing up cars before he retires. Inventory became so hard to come by this past year, I wouldn't be surprised if that was a factor in winding down. Barney is a legend though and deserves a better sendoff for what he's done for the car community in the Carolinas and beyond

Great catch! I haven't seen one of these in ages. Too bad that Sport Auto is closing down, but I remember checking their inventory sometime last year and it was pretty mediocre, so I'm not super surprised.
