Description There's no 166mm Barchetta category for Ferraris, so i put it under the only Ferrari i don't know.
Nonetheless, this is what i'm 90% sure a real Ferrari 166 Touring Barchetta. Only those knowledgable about classics can tell. If it isn't i'd be happy to take it off.
Awesome find and beautiful shot Howard! That car is so beautiful, saw one in person two years ago and it is incredible in person. And even for Car Week, this is pretty insane. :)
@DJHerbert this is Chassis #0002M, which was the very first Ferrari 166MM touring Barchetta built. It was produced for the 1948 Turin Motor Show and was sold to a collector named Thomas S. Lee. Unfortunately, Lee committed suicide, so his financial advisor held on to it until his death sometime in 1995. At this point, it was sold at auction to a huge American collection which includes another 166MM.
