Well you don't need to use the touch screen :P but the T3i is great. I use it all the time for travel, I haven't really been using it to take photos of cars but just make sure you get a 18-35mm lens or something on that lines because the 18-55mm is not that great and if you want to take photos from very far away then it is not going to work.

Optinum: Yeah, you're right, but I don't want to deal with the whole touchscreen thing. If you know more about the T4i and T3i, I'd be glad to talk with you about the differences with them in private message. :)
Thank you. I used a Canon Powershot A2300. Unfortunately I don't have a DSLR yet, but if I did, the quality would be a considerable amount better, and the noise would be really low. My next upgrade will be a Canon EOS T3i, but for now, this is what I've got.
