It sucks that it was beat up and that you missed it. There's a show I go to every Friday where the same silver DeLorean is parked on a side street, and he always lets people sit in it. Just last week he let me, and it was quite an interesting experience!

@bullchaser: I just remembered another 599 in IL that I have missed. While getting pictures of the beautiful 458 in the link below, a matte yellow one drove by me. Unfortunately, there were 6 or so other photographers on either side of me getting the same angle on the 458 so I couldn't get aicture that wpuldn't have countless heads in it. This being the day of the Geneva Concours, all sorts of exotics roamed the area that day. Of the few I caught, that impressive 599 was not one of them. Here's the link:
