Windy: I just looked it up now, and it seems your right. I wonder why they only put the Pininfarina badge on one side for some 308's? Anyways, since it is real, Nice spot!
I can usually tell a fake when I see one so I'll tell you why I'm confident this is real:
When looking up a 1985 308 GTS on Google images I noticed many have a larger front skirt, also the Pininfarina badge is on the left side of the car and not on the right side.
Replicas usually are slightly off in proportion and colour and this one is completely accurate
I have a rear three-quarter view of the car where you can see the dashboard and the dash has all the details of a 308.
It sounded like a Ferrari V8.
I agree that it's strange that there is no indication of a front bumper but it's possible it was replaced with something else? The Euro spec has a smaller bumper but you probably would see it at this angle. Unfortunately I don't remember what the front grille looked like.
It does look a bit kit-ish to me. Nice find though, hopefully Andrew will comment soon! And why did @sumsloths delete his comment? It was actually quite helpful to support our reasoning.
I agree with CanadianScooter, it looks like it could be a fake unfortunately. Between the front bumper, skirts, and wheels not looking quite right, and the Pininfarina badge missing, I don't know, I could be wrong. Where's Andrew when you need him?
