I don't think that was the case to be honest, I think he just noticed how opens the streets around the perimeter of the Arboretum were and decided to have some fun.

Well it's not that surprising he got yelled at for speeding especially in an Italian sports car. Was the owner trying to show off since he saw you taking pictures?
