Description I stopped to get gas in pretty much the middle of nowhere and saw this trailer of new Corvettes (some of which are Z06s) parked in front of a motel across the street. As I was coming into the lot, there were people coming out of the motel to look at them, and one guy even parked his old Buick just out of this picture just to stare at them. I don't like to make assumptions but based on the way the people were staring at them, this is a rarity for this area.
Two have been restored, and one is still being restored, the other 5 are totalled. The restored ones are a ZR-1 that took pretty little effort (it suffered minor damage & an oil leak, and was able to start and move after being recovered!), The 1 Millionth Corvette, and a 1962 tuxedo black convertible. The lost cars were the Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvette, the 1984 PPG Indy Car World Series pace car, the 1993 ZR-1 Spyder, the 2001 Mallett Hammer Corvette (the worst damaged), and the 1.5 Millionth Corvette
The Corvette factory is in Bowling Green, so this may have been a rest stop for the night. I remember when as staying at a Holiday Inn for my grandfather's funeral, back in 2013, an NHRA Funny Car team, as well as 2 Corvettes spent the night one night
