BMW Z8 spotted in Charlotte, North Carolina

    Couldn't believe my eyes when I found this Z8 in the Diamonds Direct office building parking lot on Sharon Rd (across from the Southpark Mall). This is the first Z8 I have seen in over two years, and it was great to finally get some decent pics of one. There was also another exotic in the parking lot that I will post sometime.

I know right! It's happened to me quite a few times. It's even more weird when someone else says, "man, you haven't seen a 675LT yet?" Next day, sees a 675LT. That was when @21Luke21 was surprised I didn't see one. Then, boom.

Thanks guys! @w2g it's strange how that works....I've had similar instances happen to me where I'll say something to the effect of "man, I haven't seen a Ferrari in a while", then the next day I'll see two of them. And Ashoor you're completely correct, these have shot up in value, and thus I think the owners are hesitant to drive them. It's a little like the Ford GT, another very difficult car to spot. I have actually spotted an Aplina Z8; I posted a pic of it a couple years ago, but it was somewhat mediocre because I didn't have my DSLR when I saw it. Never understood the Aplina Z8 because it was automatic only, plus slower and not as fun to drive as the regular Z8.

Just saw one yesterday, a black one with red interior. Very ironic- saw it less than 24 hours after saying I haven't seen one recently.

Man, I haven't seen a LaFerrari lately...

Great spot! Even in L.A. Z8s are hard to find and a lot of owners don't drive them often because the value is skyrocketing. The Alpina version is more challenging since only 555 were made.
