    The BMW M1 was BMW's homologation special for sports car racing, as Manufactures had to sell a certain number of road going cars for them to race (that's why cars such as the Ford RS200 and Audi Sport Quattro exist), with only 456 built though it is one of BMW's rarest cars. BMW did a deal with Lamborghini to do the Chassis and manufacture unfortunately Lamborghini were suffering their own problems and BMW had to take over control. I saw this crazy and somewhat beautiful car in the BRDC car park.
