Details on This Bentley Brooklands:

  • Location
    Malibu, California

Holy cow this was a surprising spot for me because on the left is an insanely rare 1930 Bentley 4 1/2 that is worth A LOT, but it was a slight hassle getting the pictures because I asked the valet attendant if I could take pictures and told me talk to the manager whom was nearby. No joke as soon as we approached him he saw my DLSR and said, "NO PHOTOS!" Somehow I managed to convince him to allow me take pictures by telling him it will only take a few seconds and I'm out of here. Also a 360 coups next to it.

No doubt a nice combo, in fact one of the nicest as you can see a contrast between two cars over 70 years apart! This is worth over $1 Million easy!

Exactly! Of course it not illegal to take pictures on public property. However, I was on private property in this case (hotel) and had to get permission to take pictures so that nobody gets in trouble. Not only that but it's best to be on the safe side. I could have sworn that the manager was going to kick me out and cause me to miss my chance of getting photos of these cars.

By the way there was a black Aventador coupe a few dozen feet away from these two cars, but I couldn't get good pics of it.

Now that is a cool find! I have never understood why some people would never allow DSLR pictures, but phone cameras are never regulated and are fine to use. Logically, it makes no sense.

Sometime the hassle can be worth it, and this is certainly one of those times. Nice combo find Ashoor!
