You need to find out where he works. He said he usually drives one of his exotics, and the A8 is usually just for airport runs or when family is in town. I think he said he usually drives the FF, but if its a really nice day he'll drive one of the Spiders.
Wow! I need to find out where he lives so I can go see his cars. My friends neighbor has a Ferrari 458. It was white and red and he let me sit in it and started it up for me. Its for sale at Foreign Cars Italia now. Go look for it. It's white with bright red interior.
I'm pretty sure he does, or at least in the surrounding area. He wasn't exactly the most talkative guy, but I guess maybe because I'm only 17 doesn't help.
I did talk to a guy at C&C who was really nice and brought his Ferrari 458 Spider to the show. He actually let me sit in it, then showed me a picture of his garage. In it was an Audi A8 (the sedan), the 458 Spider, a McLaren MP4-12C Spider (possibly the only one in Raleigh), and a Ferrari FF.
It's silver, Ryan. It was at Cars & Coffee today (car show in Cary). The owner owns an SL 65 AMG Black Series as well. I got some pics of it at the car show, although I haven't had a chance to upload them onto my computer yet. Only 110 are being produced, and this one is brand new - it still had 30 day plates on it.
Don't worry I'll keep my eyes open. I'm going to Raleigh this month to see the Porsche by Design: Seducing Speed exhibit at the NC Museum of Art so we will try to find it when we go.
I saw a blue R8 with a silver panel over near Crabtree Mall a while back, but was too far away to tell if it was the V8 or V10. I'm thinking it may have been this one.
