Description Spotted this beauty twice in 1 day. This was taken in the lot of Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ. See this photo in HD here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cartmen/8741396497
Yeah, I'm not a master with it either dude lol. It was a very small light pole way on the other side of the highway. I would probably destroy the Christmas store in the back if I attempted to remove that big light pole that you see here.
Honestly, I don't believe they are as good as people say they are lol but if you want to know, I use a Canon SX40HS w/ a tiffen 67mm polarizer and, believe it or not, I shoot in Auto for stuff like this. Then I take this photo into the chopshop(lightroom)and I fix stuff. For example, there was another light pole behind the Audi that made it look like a weird antenna which I cloned out. I also generally up the clarity a bit and then go through with the adjustment brush and clarify some more. Other things I do is reduce noise, play with shadows (though not in this photo), highlights, exposure, contrast, whites/blacks, and sometimes saturation (VERY minimally). When you edit the photo ask yourself: does the photo look real anymore? The surroundings, the colors, the car, etc. If not, you've overdone the editing. (Exception for some color splashes) I hope this helps!
Thanks! According to one r8 owner I spoke to, Audi only makes 20 V10 models per month or something like that so I'm not surprised. Give it time though :)
Good luck dude! You guys have a 60% chance of rain on Saturday though. I can barely ever find anything on a rainy day. Still, I wish you the best of luck and an early happy birthday!
