Oh then it's probably a manual. The earlier R8s are a lot more desirable to own with the manual so I guess I'm not surprised. I've heard the automatics shift very roughly and not as fast as they should, though the updated automatic in 2012 (I think) was much better.
Usually you can tell by sound if it's a manual when the driver is trying to pull out of a parking spot or away from a stop. Probably if he didn't change gears then it was a manual, but it could have been an automatic and he put it in paddle shift mode I suppose.
I am guessing this had the proper transmission? ;)
Oh duh, just saw the other angle. As much of a manual diehard as I am, I find it pretty gutsy when exotic car owners entrust their manual cars to valets. I mean I'm sure the valets are just trying to do their job, but still...probably something I wouldn't do lol. Nice spot!
