Derp I'm pretty sure it's an S550 4Matic, but I didn't really pay attention. It wasn't an S63 or S65 AMG though. As FOSC stated, there is no S550 AMG, so if you saw one, it just had an aftermarket badge. Mercedes' AMG models only have two digits following the letter, as in SL63 AMG, S65 AMG, E63 AMG, etc : )

There is no such thing as a S550 AMG. There is S55, S63 and S65 but S550 AMG is just a S550 that someone threw a AMG badge on.
