That's stupid. Hendrick already has enough dealerships. He has a billion of them on Bruton Smith Blvd in Concord and he is building an irrelevant gift shop & museum somewhere by Great Wolf Lodge on the countryside by some old barn. I saw the sign while going home from school and I was just like wtf.
Yep, that's the one. I think Felix Sabates, the owner of Bentley of Charlotte, was leasing the location from Rick Hendrick, and they had an argument over which brands he could sell as used cars. Apparently their talks didn't go so well, so Sabates said he is going to close the location. People who bought Bentleys from his dealership will be able to get them serviced at Mercedes of Charlotte, which he also owns. That's too bad, but I'm sure it won't be long till we get a new Bentley dealership here, as long as the economy holds up.
It has its on and its off days, but it has REALLY been on fire lately. Parker I hadn't heard that about the McLaren dealership...where did you find out about that?
The economy is getting better. There used to be only an occasional exotic around Charlotte but now there are a lot more. Charlotte has even gotten a Bentley dealer and apparently a Mclaren dealer soon. Exorics are now going to be a lot more common with the better economy. I'm sure every city has experienced this
