Thanks. Ya I had such great luck that day. I went to the giants game and on my way there i saw a Ferrari Testarossa, 308, GTR, Mulsanne, two Quattroportes, Bentley continental w/out bumper. Later that day I saw Aston Martin DBS, Gallardo, 458, 360 Modena, and the Shelby Cobra.

Yeah. The Vanquish is a little shorter than the DB9, but a bit wider and taller. I'd guess the Vanquish is a little longer than a Vantage and bit less wide but a good bit taller. I'd take the Vanquish over any Aston Martin made in the past... 30 years.

A friend of mine owns a 2003 Vanquish (having a photoshoot with his car in October) and I never get tired of seeing it. It's a car that would make me happy the moment I see it in my garage (or driveway, whatever) in the morning.

Well, the Vanquish S was a last hurrah, so to speak, before the Vanquish ended production, so it was only produced in 2006. I'll look into it.

Could it have been that they made 40 of a specific year?

I read 40 S's produced somewhere. Thank you for the correction.

Where are you getting 40? A 5-second Wikipedia search says 1086 were made.
