I was just looking through my pics and realized that i saw a random gallardo superleggera while at a car show i Atlanta, any cars you've seen that you didn't know they were special until you looked into it?

It doesn't count, but while photographing a Bentley Continental, I accidentally got an R8 that I didn't know was there.

When I was less experience in spotting and cars, I didn't realize the Ferrari 456 and 550 Barchetta were special finds, especially the 550.

Back in 2013 I initially assumed this was a modified 993, but further research suggests that it's a 993 Carrera RS Clubsport. Seems they go for around 400k.

White Arrow Edition Mercedes SL550. The first time I saw it I was like "that's weird, an SL with a black roof" and then later down the road I read about it. Saw it October 2015 and finally got pictures.
When I was younger, before I even went to car shows, my mom and I went to Red Lobster and there was a red Ferrari parked far from everyone. I knew it was a Ferrari F430 at the time but I didn't know it was a Scuderia, not knowing what one was or how different/special it was compared to the original car.

The Huayra I once spotted at Beverly Hills. At first, I thought it's a normal Huayra, but after deeper research, I found out that it's actually a one-off Huayra 730S/Da Vinci. Damn!

I spotted an amazing Spyker c8 at a car show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I didn't think much of it and was confused why there was such a huge crowd around the car! Was so upset afterwards when I figured out what a nice car it was and at the fact that I never got any good pictures of it.
