Get a C6 or a Viper if you want a cheap roadster that doesn't suck and would be mildly reliable
Corvette
Viper

Why not get an SLK. You can get like the same car except it'd be newer and probably cheaper to maintain. Plus it'd be lighter on fuel.

They look quite a bit like the SL, but okay lol. Then why not a Z4 or TT?

I was talking to a viper owner the other day. He got into a slight accident once where he scratched and slightly dented his front bumper and hood. The quote for a replacement hood on his RT/10 came in at; wait for it.................... $19,000.

He decided to just fix the one he had himself.

Despite that, i really want a Viper too though.

Or she can get a new Miata when they come out if she wants a fun to drive reliable convertible.

Now that is a very good idea! I vote MX5.

Were looking at getting an M6 Gran Coupe pretty soon, but we want to wait for the prices to stop plummeting on slightly used models

How it drives can easily change your opinion. It's by far one of the best cars to drive this side of $100k.
