Ferrari Of Houston story:
Pulled up to Ferrari of Houston on Saturday because I had heard that a Laferrari was there. I pulled in, and there was a Lexus LF-A sitting out front! Alongside it were a 458, F430, BMW 1M, and Porsche 911 Turbo.
Inside the main showroom were a 488 GTB, a pair of 275 GTBs, a California, and another 488. In the side showroom were several Californias, a 612 Scaglietti, and an Aston Martin DB9, as well as a couple of guys looking to buy a new Ferrari. I thought the Laferrari would be there, and was pretty bummed out that it wasn't. Or so I thought.
Before leaving, I got to talk with a guy, who said I could see some more cars in the back, but that I couldn't take pictures. He opened the door to the first of two workshops, and the first car you see, being serviced on a rack, is the Laferrari, in a beautiful Titanium silver. But what stunned me was after you walked through the door: F40, F50, and 250 Lusso, sitting all in a row! I had no idea these were there, as they were all customer cars getting refurbished, and I even got to see the F40 start up later in the day!
Going through the 2nd workshop, there were a couple of Testarossas and F12s, but it was pretty empty. He then opened up the back door, and I was shown the Ferrari of Houston professional racing shop! Inside were an F430 Challenge, a Ginetta Le Mans Prototype, a 458 GTE, and a Shelby Cobra signed by Carroll Shelby! I also got to see the 488 GT3 Risi Competizione prototype, as the real one was currently racing at Sebring. After this, the guy we were talking to was needed elsewhere, so with that, we left, and passed the guys we saw earlier test-driving a black 458 on the freeway.
Overall, this was one of the best supercar experiences one could ask for, and I would like to give a huge thanks and shoutout to Ferrari of Houston for it. And one more thing, Congratulations on placing 3rd at Sebring!
