Today may have been the most insane car show I've ever been to. We started off by getting there at 7:05, nestled between an i3, M4, and Porsche 911 GT3-RS at the light. What proceeded was some of the best cars I've ever seen: Noble M400, Mercedes AMG GT, brand new Acura NSX (parked between 2 old NSXs), and a Porsche 550 Spyder! Soon after we arrived, I got to see my first ever Liberty Walk car, a LB GT-R that couldnt find a spot, and parked in a fire lane up front.
Then, in came the Corsa America Rally, which I didn't even know was going on, led by a RADICAL RXC! Following it, in order, were a Maserati Granturismo, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Martini Porsche, Mclaren 650S sponsored by Mynt, another Granturismo, Mclaren 570S, Ferrari 458 Speciale, another Porsche, Dodge Viper, and an Audi R8 Competition (1 of 60!).
Several minutes later, while taking pictures of an M4 GTS, a Ferrari California arrived. The driver pointed at me and asked if he could get the spot I was standing in, which I didn't know was empty. He parked the car got out, pointed at me again, and said, "Give me the camera, and get in the car! I'll get a picture for you!" And that's how I got to sit in my first exotic!
Unfortunately, this is where it went downhill. And I mean of a cliff downhill. While filming the cars leaving, I got ready to film the Radical RXC.... which BOTTOMED OUT and scraped an at-least 12 inch line on the pavement! Sadly, I ran out of footage room after this, but kept trying to film as the RXC drove to the median. It seemed as if he would stop, but the Speciale let him go first, and to my surprise and shock, he gunned it... and SPUN OUT INTO THE CURB! The convoy stopped at the next red light, where the driver, who as it turns out had a child in the car, checked for damage, talked with the driver of the Superleggera, then got back in, and drove off with the convoy.
